Before we become a part of your story, we think it's only fair to introduce ourselves. After all, jewellery is personal, isn't it?

A New Brand, Built on Old Experience

Oliven wasn't launched because we spotted a trend or saw an opportunity in the market. It was started from the fact that silver has been intertwined with our family's life for more than fifty years. Before the logo, the website, the collection, there were conversations about purity, weight, finish, and craftsmanship. Those weren't lessons learnt in a boardroom.

Growing up around silver changes the way you look at jewellery. You no longer look at it as a product, but as craft. You know how a ring should feel after wearing it all day. You learn good design isn't just about how something looks under perfect lighting, it has to work just as well on an ordinary Tuesday.

We didn't have to start from scratch when we decided to build Oliven. We were building on years of experience, and asking ourselves a new question: What would we do differently if we were creating a silver brand for our generation?

What We Wanted to Do Differently

There are plenty of choices in the silver jewellery market. The irony is, that's exactly what makes it a problem.

Some brands chase trends so relentlessly that their collections seem outdated within months. Others see silver as an out-of-reach luxury, marketing it until the price is no longer reflective of the material. Then there are brands with hundreds of products, and picking out a simple everyday ring is somehow more difficult than picking out a phone.

We didn't want to build any of those tension.

We wanted to make a brand that makes it uncomplicated to buy silver. Genuine 925 sterling silver. Clean, modern designs. Honest pricing. Jewellery that you would wear, rather than save for an event that never happens.

That philosophy evolved into Oliven.

Silver has been a part of people's lives for generations for a reason.

While we were working on our collections, we had one thing constantly on our mind.

People don't buy jewellery for no reason.

Sometimes it's obvious: a birthday, an anniversary, a graduation, or a wedding. Sometimes it's much quieter. Your first salary. A promotion that you've earned over the course of years. A thank you that deserves more than a text message. Or just noticing something beautiful and saying, "This would be great for them.”

That's the version of silver we proudly make.

Celebrations don't always have to be big. Most of them occur in normal moments that only matter when you reflect on them. The meal at which someone brought good news. The trip home after getting your first job. The afternoon your sister opened a little gift and smiled without saying a word.

Who Is Oliven Jewellery Made For?

We don't make jewellery for one kind of customer, as life doesn't fit into categories.

Some of our pieces will be worn by college students who want genuine silver they can afford without waiting for a special occasion. Others will be chosen by professionals who are looking for silver jewellery that is both elegant and comfortable enough for work and everyday wear.

And of course, for the people celebrating someone they love.

The Journey Ahead

Oliven is a young brand, and that's exciting. There are still more collections to design, more stories to be part of, and many more celebrations to be had.

What won't change is the reason we started.
